i was utterly shocked to find my room lacked windows and the bizarrely combined bathroom situation. honestly, i expected at least a welcome gift or a complimentary upgrade for these inconveniences. great choice of croissants at breakfast though, just wish there were more options. absoluteley ridiculous for the price. i just couldn’t give a good review after that.

A slice of Budapest magic ✨
The location was just lekker—so close to Fisherman's Bastion, and the views from there are something else! Stephen and the team were super friendly, and our room was cozy with a vibe that made you feel right at home. Brekkie was a solid choice, couldn't ask for more!
Just a heads up, carry a small suitcase 'cause those stairs can be a bit of a jol if you're not ready!

Upgraded to a suite upon arrival, and the spaciousness really made our stay cozy. The on-site spa offered a fantastic back massage and a sun terrace to unwind after exploring the city. The only hiccup was the stairs leading to the property, so pack comfy shoes for that! 😊

Our Budget Double Room, No Window was really quaint. The decor was nice, but it was a bit cramped for two. The bed was comfy, and the shower was amazing—high quality shampoo and all. Just a warning though, there was no window, which made it feel a little closed in.

Highly Recommend for Couples Seeking Comfort
The design of the hotel, blending modern intricacies with its historical essence, is remarkable. I particularly enjoyed the attention to detail, like the powerful shower and soft sheets that made resting after long days feel luxurious.
It was a bit pricey, but worth every penny.

missingWrote a review on 01 Junlocal decortraditional cuisineeasy accesslimited breakfast
Unique local decor adds significant character, giving a true sense of place. The bistro menu highlights traditional cuisine that impresses, despite being limited. A prime spot grants quick access to local attractions, perfect for exploring the area without hassle.
Limited breakfast options could frustrate those seeking variety. offerings mainly consist of croissants and jam. The absence of elevator access can be a drag, especially if you're hauling heavy luggage. On top of that, the occasional confusion with room features—like having to request additional coffee pods—can detract from the experience.
